ARTISTIC PROCESS

FROM GRAPHISM TO COLOUR

My reference is writing. I exploit variations around this theme.
My writing’s rythm is graphical music for my work.

Writing is a way to travel spiritually, and to communicate.
Writing is leaving a stamp on Time. It’s also remembering, narrating, erasing………

Emotions, memories, scents …… interpreted in plastic by fragments of fabrics, colours, lines, ………..I superimpose, I align, I erase ……
All of this constitutes a creation where the eye can wander according to its desires, thereby bringing back together a new plastic story.
Time has its importance in the true making of my work, allowing its Soul to come trough.

I like to use materials doomed to be forgotten, and to give them a new life, more noble, the life of « ART ». Taking advantage of accidents, reactions between fabrics, helps me reveal the true identity of my work. The idea of using a negative for a positive development appeals to me. At times, I escape in figurative art, focusing on writing by the line.

My focus is then on contours, on body movements.
My work is a reflection of my life, my  motions, my joys, my pains, my memories…
It is the parchment of my words, the journal of my life’s travel.
